Brandy Spiked Peach Jam

Hope you guys saved some of those juicy peaches from Friday, or maybe you ate them all like me but picked up more from Pearson Farm at the Grant Park Farmers Market on Sunday!  Either way we have a great recipe for peach jam for y'all, and it so easy you wont believe it.

Ingredients:

4lbs of peaches

2c sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp brandy (optional)

Bring a pot of water to a boil and drop the peaches in for 45 seconds.

Strain the peaches out and peel the skin once they are cool enough to handle.

Dice the peaches and combine all the ingredients in a pot and cook on medium.  Bring to a boil a couple of times until the peaches reach a jam consistency.  Let cool and transfer to jars.  Not only is this great to serve for company, but you could also get some of these super cute mini jars and give the jam away as a party favor.

We loved ours with fresh bread, a little goat cheese spread on the bread and topped with the peach jam.  Serve this and a cup of great coffee to your loved ones for breakfast and they'll thank you for it!
