As spring approaches, we can't help but light up at the site of bold, beautiful color. This project by Jennifer Reynolds, caught our attention with its fun use of yellow, blue and green.
Jennifer gave this home such life with all of the bright colors. By maintaining a neutral base it allows the room to maintain a classic, and sophisticated feel.
Jennifer also successfully mixed materials, the different wood finishes and metals combined with the pops of blue on the backs of the bookcases come together to add even more interest to the room.
Along with the bold color and different finishes, the use of warm woods and natural baskets help to keep the design grounded and in tune with the architecture of the home.
As spring approaches, don't be afraid to interject color into your room. I always tell people that paint is not the only way to bring color into your home, and Jennifer has done a great job of demonstrating this. When color is brought in through pillows, accent chairs, drapes and accessories, you give yourself the opportunity to change items out without breaking the bank when you have grown tired of that color of pattern. Good Luck!
